Welcome to the Tribute to Terry Nation website. This year is the 30th Anniversary of Blakes' 7, rather than just do the standard Blake's 7 convention we took the best bits from our Star One conventions and turned them into a Tribute to Terry Nation, celebrating all of Terry's creations from the Daleks to Survivors.

The following guests have been added to the convention

Nicholas Smith, most famous for his role as Mr Rumbold in the TV series 'Are you being served' his first actual speaking role was that of Mr Wells in the TV story Dalek Invasion of Earth. More recently he provided the voice of Reg Hedges in the Wallace & Grommit film 'The Curse of the Were Rabbit'.

Jane Merrow has appeared in many well known TV series such as MacGyver, Magnum PI, Six Million Dollar Man, Airwolf, Lovejoy, UFO and starred in the episode The Baron which Terry wrote.

Bruce Montague appeared in an episode of The Baron which Terry wrote and has been in many classic TV shows such as The Proctors, The Saint, Secret Army, Butterflies and has had many theatre roles.

Barry Stanton appeared in two shows written by Terry, he starred in The Survivors as Reg Gunnel and in The Champions as Faber and

Lorna Lewis who played Pet Simpson in 15 episodes of The Survivors.

Plus we welcome back to a 10thplanet event Hugh Walters appeared in both Doctor Who and the Survivors TV series and Barrie Ingham has appeared in both the Doctor Who TV series and in the feature film Doctor Who and the Daleks

Although not part of the Terry Nation Tribute we would like to announce that Anneke Wills will be appearing at Autographica to promote her autobiography and a range of new prints and photos.

Sadly due to Theatre and other TV commitments the following guests are no longer able to appear this weekend, Kate O'Mara, Gerald Harper, Bernard Cribbins and Alexandra Bastedo.

Big NEWS!

As you can see from above we have MOVED venues... After several weeks of discussions amongst the 10thplanet team we decided to move our Tribute to Terry Nation Convention to the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham within the NEC grounds. Ticket sales were slightly disappointing and we felt this may have been because of the location and that it's not that easy to get to unless you drive! This means the tribute show has moved to a more central location in the UK and is also easily accessible by train or car. Therefore we shall be running our Tribute to Terry Nation Convention alongside Autographica 11.

Derek meets Sir Roger Moore!!!

Founding member of 10thplanet Derek Hambly recently met up with Sir Roger Moore who kindly filmed a video tribute to Terry Nation, this will be shown exclusively at our event on the Saturday night. Unfortunately Roger is not attending but we are very grateful for the time he took to record this wonderful tribute.

We have added TWO more guests to the show;

LALLA WARD who played Romana from Doctor Who and starred in Destiny of the Daleks by Terry Nation plus JENNIE LINDEN who played Barbara from Dr Who and the Daleks Movie will both be attending our convention in April.

Celebrity Dinner

We all have to eat! What better way then than to enjoy a 3
course meal with friends and the guests of the convention!

Set in a private room with full waiter service this is a highlight
of the weekends event. Just £50 per person.

Photo Studio

We all like souvenirs from a day out, either at the beach,
on holiday or when visiting a theme park. As such at 10th
Planet events we are pleased to offer you the opportunity
to have your photo taken by a professional photographer.

The Photo Studio is a prime opportunity for you to get a
high quality color photograph printed on the day of the
event for you to take away. The Photo Studio is
provided by TTL Productions.

Photo Studio Tickets will go on sale from 8am at the registration desk, sorry we were unable to sell them via the website at this time. Photographs are approximately A4 (10” x 8”)
and are priced at £15.
